AWW4: Water for Growth in Africa

The fourth edition of AWW was hosted by Egypt from the 14th – 18th May 2012 under the theme ‘Water for Growth in Africa’. AWW-4 enabled AMCOW to pay a renewed and devoted attention to water for growth. It represented Africa’s overarching driving framework for the development, management and utilisation of water resources especially given Africa’s aspirations of poverty reduction; sustainable socio-economic development; as well as equitable and all-inclusive growth.
