AWW5: Placing Water at the Heart of the post 2015 Development Agenda

AWW-5 was hosted by the Government of the Republic of Senegal through the Ministry of Hydraulic and Sanitation under the theme “Placing Water at the Heart of the post 2015 Development Agenda”. The fifth AWW underscored the importance of an Africa where there is an equitable and sustainable use and management of water resources for poverty alleviation, socio economic development, regional cooperation and environment”. It further advocated for a distinct water goal in the post 2015 development framework.
